Emma Vieceli

An award-winning comic book and graphic novel creator, Emma has been telling stories on the page for two decades. Works include: Back to the Future, Life is Strange and BREAKS. In 2024, after a lifetime love of theatre and performance, she applied that love of storytelling and her theatrical training to writing her first musical: Unfolding. In Dec 2024, 'It Starts Small' from the show won the Stiles + Drewe song prize and she hasn't looked back since.



Liz Townsend
Additional arrangement & orchestrations
Liz brings to the table years of formal training across a range of musical disciplines, from playing various instruments to arranging and orchestrating music . She has performed in orchestras, bands, and numerous concerts, while also composing original works and directing choirs. Her breadth of experience complemented Emma’s perfectly, enabling her to provide support with every aspect of the show’s music—from the earliest drafts through to the ADC performance.


Currently Resident Director on Paddington: The Musical at
the Savoy Theatre, Grace's recent credits include Associate Director on the UK tour, Dutch and German productions of & Juliet. Directing work includes How to Make a Mess (A Totally Unauthorised Love Letter to Nigella Lawson) at Upstairs at the Gatehouse in 2026, The Glamification of Loki (BYMT at
Southwark Playhouse). Further directing credits include In Clay — an Offies finalist for Best Staging — and Sister Act (ArtsEd), alongside producing and directing the revival workshop of The Hatpin.

Jessie first encountered Unfolding while working for acclaimed musical theatre duo Stiles+Drewe, when Emma’s song won their 2024 concert prize. Since then they have acted AP on new musical Moominvalley in November, The Queen is Mad, and runs their own new writing company, Seamoss Theatre. They are a recent alumni of Stage One’s 2025 Commercial Producer Workshop.
